Company founded as a three-man operation (Halle/Westphalia)
Expansion of the building to 900 m², installation of a second Helio-Flex F1600 for polymer sleeve production
Move to our own company building in Melle-Wellingholzhausen (2200m²)
Our guiding principle is to deliver first-class quality. We have been DIN EN ISO:9001 certified since 1995 and have all our processes and products subjected to regular internal and external (TÜV) quality controls. Our clients appreciate the quality of our products, which is certified according to DIN EN ISO:9001. This is what we strive for every day anew.
In order to provide the best possible advance simulation of the final printed image, we carry out proofing: we create colour-accurate templates with impressive detail and sharpness on paper, aluminium foil and transparent film. In order to guarantee customer satisfaction and to ensure excellent support, our qualified employees accompany the printing inspection if required and check the results directly on site.
By using Peret’s latest measuring technology, the FLEX3PRO, we are able to constantly monitor our high level of quality and, if desired, record it. This enables our customers to have a comprehensible view of our work. A further step to constantly control our quality is our press proof. With the help of a press proof and assembly machine, the PlateExakt 1700, which was planned according to our specifications and developed by the Raantec company, we print every sleeve that leaves our premises. This is not binding in terms of colour but is significant when it comes to the condition of the texts, fit accuracy, or label dimensions. Defects that may occur during the production of the raw sleeves become visible through this process and can therefore be removed from circulation. If the customer so wishes, both this press proof and a quality protocol can be enclosed with the delivered sleeves.
At Flex-Punkt we pay attention to sustainability!
Through self-developed processes and state-of-the-art machines, we manage to protect the environment and save valuable resources such as water.
Since the laser cutting of elastomer sleeves generates a lot of heat, our production hall can be heated with self-generated heat during the cool season. We have also invested in a ventilation system that ensures a permanent exchange of air in the production halls. Used air is extracted and fresh air from outside is fed into the hall.
Since the beginning of 2022, we have invested in a new elastomer washer. Instead of one sleeve, there is room for a total of six sleeves. In consultation with the manufacturer, we dared to question an idea with a result which is convincing. From now on, the sleeves will be cleaned with self- recovered rainwater. After use, the water flows through a reprocessing program and can thus be used several times for cleaning. Likewise, we reprocess our used solvent, which we need for washing out photopolymer plates and sleeves, with the help of a distillery, creating a cycle that reduces consumption many times over.
There is a gigantic photovoltaic system on our entire roof area. These modules generate a full 245 KWp on approximately 2500 square meters. This allows us to generate 65 percent of the electricity we need ourselves. We feed surplus electricity into the public grid and receive a feed-in tariff for it. In addition, the first wall boxes for our employees’ e-cars have been installed.
We, Flex-Punkt Druckformen GmbH, are a training company certified and recognised by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Osnabrück-Emsland-Grafschaft Bentheim. We have made it our mission to offer our trainees an interesting, practical, and diversified apprenticeship. Thus, our skilled workers of tomorrow will have a secure and professional future.
I am Melissa, 21 years old and I continued my training as a digital and print media designer specializing in print media on 01.03.2024 at Flex-Punkt Druckformen GmbH.
I originally started my apprenticeship at another company on 01.08.2023. However, this company went bankrupt and had to close. After a long search, many inquiries and many rejections from various companies, I came across Flex-Punkt, which immediately invited me to an informative job interview and took me on shortly afterwards. The transition went smoothly and without any problems.
You are integrated directly into the day-to-day work here and can learn how the profession and work at Flex-Punkt works by working on real assignments. In addition to a few excursions to other departments, I work in the repro department, where customer data is prepared for flexographic printing and ultimately the production of printing forms.
I’m Leni, 16 years old and I come from the Hilter district.
Since 01.08.2024 I have been an apprentice as a digital and print media designer specializing in print media at Flex-Punkt Druckformen GmbH.
Before that, I completed my secondary school certificate. As I have always been interested in design, I decided very early on to do an apprenticeship in this field.
I came across the company Flex-Punkt by chance on the “Training Day”. There I gained a lot of insight into this profession and gained a positive impression of the company. After this day, I quickly realized that I wanted to start my apprenticeship there.
After a very pleasant interview and the informative trial work that followed, I was allowed to sign my training contract.
